The ETCC held a drivers school on Sptember 24th at Pellissippi State Community College.
Dave and Linda Goebel, John Llewellyn and Doug Ward were the instructors. Handling as well as braking were stressed.
A small auto cross course was set up to test before and after results of the class. One student improved her time by almost 10 secnds per lap. The enthusiasm of the students was a wonderful sight to behold. One semi experienced auto cross participant improved his time by over 3 seconds. Parking lot auto cross speeds rarely exceed 50 MPH, thus it is a fun and safe way to learn about the abilities of both your car and yourself.
